仕事内容

This role is the primary contact and financial lead for our Commercial, Medical and Hosted Capabilities teams within Japan. Activities include consolidating the financial results of the affiliate monthly, communicating with and answers questions from IBU central teams, coordinating and centralizing work and requests across the ELJ business units. The position requires a strong knowledge of finance and accounting, technical excel modelling and building presentation skills, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English. The role will be work closely with senior management, global / local cross-functional teams, the Japan FP＆A team and external partners.

Develop a deep understanding of our industry, business and brands to become a valued and trusted partner to the Management Team
Ensure appropriate monthly accounting and reporting:
Prepare and present monthly results, explain variance drivers and analyze data to support decisions
Ensure the business is compliant to financial policies and procedures, maintaining internal controls and compliance to SOx
Own the month-end reporting process and the quarterly revenue outlook (signal) for the affiliate
Take a lead role during Business Plan (near-term budgeting process) and Strategic Plan (long-term view) processes
Serve as the subject matter expert within Japan for the V＆C module of SAP, responsible for accurately loading F09, V0 forecasts into SAP/SAC
Participate in local business development deals supporting the financial analysis and valuation processes
Lead ad-hoc projects and business case analyses
Coordinate between local business partners, local senior management, and global teams across functions and geographies

【必須事項】

・3+ years of experience in finance field in a multinational company or consulting/audit firm with experience in cross-functional work/project.
Candidate must be fluent in Japanese and English
